The Vortex® smooth bore nozzle expands the capability of a traditional smooth bore by adding a second tactical stream option without sacrificing flow. Installed behind the smooth bore tip, the Vortex allows firefighters to operate with a hard-hitting straight stream or quickly switch to a narrow dispersed pattern for additional fireground versatility.

Six durable aluminum fins introduce a controlled spin to the water as it exits the nozzle, creating a narrow dispersed pattern while maintaining the full flow rate of the smooth bore. This design gives crews more tactical flexibility—whether knocking down fire, protecting exposures, or moving heat and smoke—without the flow loss typically seen when gating a nozzle.

Available for both handlines and master streams, Vortex provides a simple way to add versatility to existing smooth bore setups while maintaining the reliability firefighters expect.
