How to Service Flex® from the SmartPlex App

The TFT SmartPlex App provides built-in tools to help you service and diagnose issues with your Flex Monitor. By using the Service Monitor function within the app, you can view real-time performance data and check motor status, all from your connected device.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Open the Monitor Hub
    • Ensure the monitor is connected.
    • Select Service Monitor from the Monitor Hub interface.
  2. Review Motor Percentage
    • Displays the position of the horizontal, vertical, and nozzle motors.
    • 50% represents halfway travel.
    • As you move the controller, these percentages update live.
  3. Check General Information
    • Shows:
      • Total oscillation cycles completed.
      • Monitor status (e.g., parked, oscillating, or parking).
    • Useful for relaying system data to truck or installation teams.
  4. Analyze Motor Status
    • Each motor has a dropdown with detailed diagnostics.
    • View:
      • Operational data
      • Any faults or programming stop issues
    • Faults will be flagged here for easier troubleshooting.
