How to Program Soft Stops on Flex® from the SmartPlex App

Programming soft stops on your Flex Monitor via the TFT SmartPlex App allows you to define movement limits in specific directions. Follow these steps to set up and activate soft stops through the monitor interface.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Go to the Monitor Hub Page
    • Ensure your Flex Monitor is connected.
    • Open the Monitor Hub on the SmartPlex App.
  2. Access the Program Soft Stop Mode
    • Tap Program Monitor.
    • Scroll down and select Program Soft Stops.
  3. Set the Desired Position
    • Manually move the monitor to the point where you want the soft stop.
    • Press Store to lock that position.
  4. Select Direction(s) for the Stop
    • Choose to apply the soft stop on the X Axis, Y Axis, or both.
    • In the video example, only the negative X Axis was selected.
  5. Exit Programming Mode
    • Tap Done to complete the process.
  6. Test the Soft Stop
    • Navigate back to Operator Monitor via the Monitor Hub.
    • Move the monitor around—you’ll see it stop at the positions you’ve set.

Notes:

  • You can program soft stops in all four directions: left, right, up, and down.
  • Each direction must be programmed individually.
