Blitzfire portable attack monitors are quick to deploy and can flow up to 500 GPM. These type of portable monitors are designed to let one firefighter with a single hoseline establish flow and blitz a fire through the front door or into the fire environment above the firefighter.

When you establish a flow above 500 GPM, you typically need a larger hoseline and experience a greater nozzle reaction force when properly pumped. Master stream smooth bores are rated for 80 PSI for optimal performance, versus 50 PSI for a handline smooth bore nozzle. Under pumping the smoothbore can affect your reach and stream performance.
