VIT Valve Integral Tip™ Smooth Bore Firefighting Nozzles

What is the VIT Ball Valve Fire Nozzle? 

The valve integral tip ball valve nozzle is a fixed flow firefighting nozzle. It operates as a functional smooth bore but has exposed outlet male threads that allow you to add another smooth bore tip or a combination nozzle tip. It also makes it quick and efficient for break-and-extend operations.  

Outlet Thread Protection 

With exposed male threads, it is important to protect your threads to ensure their functionality in the future. The VIT nozzle has a retractable thread protector that can be extended to protect your threads and avoid damage. When you want to attach another tip or use the valve for break-and-extend ops you can retract the thread protector to fully expose the threads. 

Detent valve positions 

The VIT nozzle handle has six detent positions that allow you to regulate the flow of your nozzle depending on your need.  

Stream Straightener 

Each VIT valve has a stream straightener installed to give you the highest stream quality possible. If you choose to remove the stream straightener, this can be done through the back for models with a standard 1.5” (38 mm) coupling.
