Anti-Icing and De-Icing Solutions for Aviation

Ice Control Nozzles

What is an Ice Control Nozzle?

Ice control nozzles are designed for use in the aviation ground support industry. These nozzles deliver anti-icing Glycol based fluids or high-temperature deicing fluids to aircraft. Some of the nozzles can be used with either type of fluid in either application, de-icing or anti-icing.

Available Nozzles

Anti-Icing Nozzles

Anti-icing nozzles deliver Glycol-based fluids and operate at lower pressures and flows than deicing nozzles.

  • Include pistol grip. Pistol grips can help protect your operator’s hands from very low or very high temperatures.
  • Models available with electric remote pattern adjustment for boom and turret mounting
  • Industry standard 50 PSI (3 bar) at 10-60 GPM (38-227 LPM) available
  • 75 PSI (5 bar) models are also available for increased reach

De-Icing Nozzles

De-Icing nozzles apply fluids at elevated temperatures up to 210° Fahrenheit (99° Celsius).

  • 100 PSI (7 bar) models available for standard wing and fuselage deicing operations:
    • Include pistol grip. Pistol grips can help protect your operator’s hands from very low or very high temperatures.
    • Bail handle valve control or Impulse Trigger valves available
    • Turbulence-free slide valve
  • 150 PSI (10 bar) models are available for longer reach and higher impact to flake off heavy ice and snow.
    • With pistol grip. Pistol grips can help protect your operator’s hands from very low or very high temperatures.
    • Bail handle valve control or Impulse Trigger operation for manual models
    • Electric remote pattern adjustment available

Combination Ice Control Nozzles

Combination ice control nozzles are designed for both de-icing and anti-icing. A single nozzle can be used in two steps for deicing and anti-icing the aircraft.

  • Include pistol grip. Pistol grips can help protect your operator’s hands from very low or very high temperatures.
  • Bail handle valve control or Impulse Trigger operation available for manual models
  • Electric remote pattern adjustment available
  • Several flow and pressure options are available.
