What is the DeconPak?
DECON/pak is a portable gross decontamination system designed specifically for firefighters, enabling quick and effective decontamination of personnel and equipment on the fireground. This self-contained system offers precise agent proportioning and rinse capabilities, making it an essential tool for reducing cancer-causing contaminants and protecting firefighter health. Efficient Gross Decontamination
The DeconPak offers a highly efficient solution for gross decon, making it easy to scrub, wash, and rinse firefighting gear directly on the scene. The 2.5-gallon tank allows for proportioning of cleaning agents from 0.1% to 0.5%, enabling effective decontamination with the appropriate cleaning solution for PPE and equipment. The system can also switch to a rinse-only mode when needed, making it versatile for all situations.

Designed for easy storage, the DeconPak fits seamlessly into fire apparatus compartments, ensuring it’s accessible when needed. It’s small enough to be stored in compact spaces, making it the ideal tool for decontamination on the go, without compromising on apparatus storage.
