Doug, the Midwestern Regional Manager for the Fire Apparatus Solutions Team (FAST), handles product sales, support, installation, and innovative new product development for fire apparatus manufacturers in Wisconsin, Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, and Kentucky.
Doug’s more than 30 years in fire service began days following high school graduation, when he volunteered for Center Township Fire Rescue in Northwest Indiana – where he still sits on the board of directors and serves as training officer. His certification as a NFPA Instructor II / III, Fire Officer I / II, and as a National Foam Factory Instructor helped in his work as past chairperson and instructor of the Duneland School of Emergency Response – one of the Midwest’s largest regional training programs.
In addition to his FAST managerial position, Doug serves as the Deicing Products Manager, serving the aircraft deicing and anti-icing equipment manufacturers, dealers and airline customers.
